It was a pleasure to work on the exhibition about the amazing escape, capture and trial of a group of men and women transported to Australia in the late eighteenth century. As well as marking the 250th anniversary of the events the exhibition highlighted UCL founder Jermey Bentham’s opposition to transportation.
